ABOUT US
Meet the Team
​Founders Shresthi and Mya are two high school students in Central Ohio. They were inspired by their love of reading, wanting to share their passion with students who don’t have the same opportunities. The two students met in the seventh grade where they became fast friends. They eventually became partners in both Project Bookworm, as well as partners on the debate team. Their ultimate goal is to make a difference in the lives of the students they donate to, and their community as a whole.
Our Mission
Project Bookworm is a student-led organization based in Central Ohio committed to giving underprivileged students access to quality books. As two teenagers who discovered a profound passion for reading at a young age, we want to provide the same opportunity to others. By collecting gently used books from community members and donating them to local schools and food banks, we are helping to inspire a lifelong love for literature.

HOW TO DONATE
Pick-Up
We pickup book donations on Sundays. We will update our social media pages with information on upcoming pickup dates. Please leave all donations on your porch/outside your front door. Email us at donate@projectbookworm.org or message us on Facebook/Instagram @project_bookworm to let us know you have donations. Please include your address and the date of pickup.
Drop-Off
If you would prefer to drop off your books instead of having us pick them up, please email us at donate@projectbookworm.org or message us on Facebook Instagram @project_bookworm. We will have public drop off locations coming soon.
